Compulsus

Compulsus is a provocative queer drama set in the Me Too era, centered around Wally, a woman filled with rage and empathy who takes matters into her own hands. By night, she patrols the streets, seeking out and physically exacting vengeance on abusive men, particularly targeting those who fit the stereotypical image of « hipsters. » Her mission is driven by a deep sense of justice for survivors who are unable to fight back themselves.

The film explores themes of revenge, justice, and love, particularly when Lou, a law-abiding woman, enters Wally’s world. Their budding relationship complicates the dynamic between love and vengeance, and as their connection deepens, the lines between the two become increasingly blurred.
